Henley Business School recognises that our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment and is committed to achieving the highest standards of environmental performance, reducing pollution and minimising the impact of its operations. The Business School’sĀ aim is that no lasting environmental damage occurs as a result of its activities, and policies are being implemented to ensure that all of its operations meet or exceed the requirements of legislation and applicable best practice. Henley Business School regards compliance with relevant environmental laws, and the adoption of responsible standards where no legislation exists, as an integral part of its business strategy and is committed to considering the environmental impacts associated with its services and activities throughout their life-cycle.

Henley Business School has committed to monitor and improve its environmental performance in line with statutory requirements. Environmental aspects have been identified at the Business School and corresponding objectives and targets set to reduce the significance of impacts in those areas. These will be reviewed and updated on at least an annual basis to ensure continual improvement. These objectives and targets are publicised and distributed throughout the organisation and all staff are committed to their achievement.

Henley Business School College will continue to raise environmental awareness within the School through the development and training of its employees and members and will communicate openly and consult with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders on relevant environmental matters.

The Business School seeks to minimise waste, promote recycling initiatives, reduce energy consumption, reduce harmful emissions and where possible, to work with contractors / suppliers who also have and maintain an environmental policy. Henley Business School strives to conserve natural habitats and create additional areas of wildlife value wherever possible.
